How We Roll
We’re big fans of slow travel—taking our time to soak in each destination without rushing from one activity to the next. Our preference is fewer plans and more room for spontaneity. Long afternoons with plenty of time for creativity, meeting the locals, discovering hidden local gems and soaking in the atmosphere.
We also have busy and curious kids! So our trips offer plenty of optional activities if you’re up for a bit of adventure. It’s the perfect balance of freedom and fun!
Sustainability and cultural appreciation are at the heart of how we travel. We believe in treading lightly, respecting the places we visit, and immersing ourselves in local culture and traditions where appropriate.
Whether that's joining a cooking class to learn authentic recipes or engaging with the community celebrations - we humbly explore with open minds and open hearts.
By supporting local businesses and embracing eco-friendly practices where we can, our travels are not just about seeing the world—but learning from and contributing to in thoughtful, respectful ways.

Hi, We're Jason and Annelise!
We're an Australian family who have been homeschooling and slow travelling since 2022 with our 4 children.
Our favourite thing to do is rent an apartment in a city or town we've never been to, and settle ourselves there for a month or more.
We get to make friends with the local vendors, explore deeply and truly experience a taste of the culture. We created Worldschool Hubs to share this with you.
When we travel, we work and school as we go. It's not a holiday, it's a way of life. We also love being home for a few months a year to see family and friends, and plug back into the more location dependant activities the kids love.
Our online business is what allows us to travel this way. Annelise is an online business mentor, and together we run a marketing agency. We also host the annual, virtual Worldschool Summit.
